గాంక్రెస్‌కి దిమ్మ తిరిగింది, కానీ ఇంకా మైండ్ బ్లాక్ కాలేదు!

మరచిపోకండి, ఇది సెమి ఫైనల్ మాత్రమే.

  1. SS says:

    Indhulo antha shocking emi vundhi.
People expect change. No one can bear any party for not more than 2 terms.
It will be shocking if congress makes it again.

    • Murali says:

మీరు నా ఇంగ్లీష్ ఆర్టికల్ చదివారా? I am not shocked. I just want the momentum to continue until general elections.

      • Jyoti says:

        Agree with SS.

People just want change. Nothing more. They are not pro BJP.

And I too do hope this momentum continues till the general elections.

  2. Venu Aasuri says:

This is indeed a mixed vote. Clearly people wanted change. That said, a lot of people do see hope in Narendra Modi. He did make an impact on this election, though its difficult to quantify it.

While we can blame people for their apathy, they have demonstrated the maturity every time they saw a better alternative (remember emergency? NTR sweeping to power in a matter of 9 months? Vajpayee’s victory? Kejriwal?) However, the alternatives have often squandered the opportunities resulting in “revolving doors” policy.

Congress needs a major overhaul though. I don’t look forward to the party going away completely – I only look forward to the end of dynastic rule by Nehru family. The party had some legitimacy and hope when PVNR was at the helm of affairs.

“Intellectuals” have often, in private conversations at least, given up on the country. I don’t think its easy to wrap our head around the dynamics of a complex country like India though. There are too many forces and divisive elements – the fact that it still some how moves forward in some unified way is amazing to me.

I would love to know what keeps this country of so many religions, languages, cultures, poverty, and corruption together and gives us all a sense of oneness. There is some inherent strength that comes from… where?

    • Jyoti says:

Nicely surmised Venugaaru. The last paragraph stands out…

“I would love to know what keeps this country of so many religions, languages, cultures, poverty, and corruption together and gives us all a sense of oneness. There is some inherent strength that comes from… where?”

I for one would love to know the answers too.

    ముందు ఒక మైండ్ ఉండాలి కదా బ్లాక్ అవటానికి?
